Texana/Brackenridge Park & Campgrounds: Two is Better Than One

Just outside of Edna Texas you'll find 2 hidden gems to fill all your camping needs. Texana Park and Campground is part of the Brackenridge Recreation Complex (BRC). The BRC consists of Brackenridge Park and Campground, Texana Park and Campground and the Brackenridge Main Event Center. Texana Park and Campground is known for its spacious campsites, wildlife viewing areas, and 7 miles of hike and bike trails! Fun fact – Texana Park and Campground was formally known as “Lake Texana State Park” from the 1980’s – 2012. Accommodations include 63 Full-Hook-Up Campsites, 78 Partial-Hook-Up Campsites, and 2: 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath fully furnished Cabins. All campsites are equipped with a picnic table, fire ring, BBQ pit, and offer 20, 30 or 50 amp electricity outlets. Texana Park offers nightly, weekly, and monthly camping stays. Park amenities include gated campground, 7 comfort stations, 3 with showers that are climate controlled and 4 that are just restroom facilities only, WIFI Hotspots, 7 miles of hike/bike trails, 3 fishing piers, 2 playgrounds, weekly nature programs, 24/7 park security, and the NEW Texana Park Community Education Center which will be opening soon! The best part of all, is that if you visit Texana Park and Campground is that you automatically get access to Brackenridge Park and Campground! The newly built Community Education Center will have over 5,000 square feet of exhibit and community space. Exhibits include snakes, alligators, frogs, fish, and so much more! Our Public Outreach Coordinators offer weekly interactive programs for visitors of all ages. The park is located along beautiful Lake Texana approximately 6 1/2 miles outside of Edna, TX on State Hwy. 111 across the highway from the Brackenridge Main Event Center.
